Chongqing stalagmite Mountain Scenic Area is located at the junction of Jiangjin District and Yongchuan District, with Yunwu Mountains in the north and Yangtze River in the south. It is 36 kilometers away from Yongchuan City, 46 kilometers away from Jiangjin City, 60 kilometers away from Chongqing main city, 110 kilometers away from Luzhou City, Sichuan Province, and 180 kilometers away from Chishui River Scenic Area in Guizhou Province. Stalagmite Mountain is named after the male and female stalagmite peaks that plunge straight into the sky and are shaped like stalagmites. The stalagmite mountain with an average elevation of 700 meters, is a cloud mountain.
